Potatoes should be wrinkle-free without discolouration or cracks and should be stored in a cool, airy location. Avoid refrigerating Russet or Yukon Gold for long periods of time as the starches will convert to sugar and cause an unpleasant taste.

Kohlrabi should be stored refrigerated with leaves and bulbs bagged separately. Leaves will keep for up to 3 days, bulbs for about 10. Beetroot, parsnip and swede should be refrigerated in a plastic bag and will keep for up to 3 weeks.
